Low- and Middle-income Country (LMIC) Committee

The ICCR is establishing a Low- and Middle-income Country (LMIC) Committee. Professor Marta Cohen of the United Kingdom has been appointed as Chair. A key objective of the ICCR LMIC Committee will be to foster the dissemination and effective use of ICCR datasets in LMICs by providing educational activities to pathologists and other medical professionals.

The ICCR LMIC Committee will include representatives from ICCR Bronze members and others with experience in the LMIC setting.

The ICCR has developed the Bronze membership tier to increase access to membership for LMICs. Bronze membership will be by invitation to low-resource pathology organisations, with a fee of $2,000 USD annually. Bronze members may nominate representatives to join the ICCR LMIC Committee as part of their membership. The benefits of Bronze membership will primarily be educational projects delivered via the ICCR LMIC Committee.
