Copyright in International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) datasets lies with the ICCR Dataset Authoring Committee members. These members provide the ICCR with a licence to use, copy, publish, adapt, edit, modify and sub-licence the datasets. The ICCR authorises the use and replication of the ICCR Datasets by pathologists and other health care providers solely for the purposes of, the reporting of surgical specimens, teaching, and carrying out non-profit medical research. The whole or part of an ICCR Dataset may be downloaded, displayed, printed and reproduced for personal, non-commercial use or use within an organisation subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. This authorisation does not extend to the reproduction, in whole or in part, of any unauthorised translation, and does not extend to the use or reproduction, in whole or in part, of the ICCR Dataset for commercial purposes, including for the development of electronic derivatives, without the written consent of the ICCR;
  2. The ICCR authorises the use of the ICCR logo in respect of a ICCR Dataset provided the ICCR Dataset, and associated commentary, is reproduced without modification from the original content, and the implementation does not include additional and/or local content. ICCR authorises the inclusion of the ICCR logo against individual ICCR Dataset elements and associated commentary if reproduced without modification from the original content. The inclusion of the ICCR logo should not be used in any way which could be misleading or in a way which could be construed as the ICCR providing an endorsement of a product or service;
  3. ‘Reproduced without modification from original content’ above means reproduction of the ICCR Dataset, or part of it, without any changes having been made to the wording of any element name, commentary, including references, tables or diagrams. Formatting changes in regard to layout, font, spacing, tabulation and sequencing may be made.
  4. Any reproduction of an ICCR Dataset, in whole or in part, must include this copyright notice in full, and must include the edition and/or version number of the ICCR Dataset used.

Translations of ICCR datasets are available and are developed by an ISO 9001:2015 certified translation company to maintain the integrity of the content. Any unauthorised translation of ICCR Datasets are not recognised by the ICCR and the ICCR logo is not permitted to be used in relation to an unauthorised translation of an ICCR Dataset.
