ICCR Survey of digital reporting in low- and middle-income countries
October 2026

Recognising that digital transformation is uneven across health systems, the ICCR surveyed pathologists working in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) about digital pathology reporting.

The survey aimed to determine:

  • which tools are viable in resource-limited environments,
  • how ICCR templates might be strategically implemented in these settings, and
  • where are the greatest opportunities lie to lift diagnostic accuracy worldwide.

What emerged is a clearer picture of pathologists’ needs and priorities. This intelligence will inform the ICCR’s future planning for template implementation, in LMICs and beyond.
